On Pilgrimage into the mind and heart of Christ

On Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1:30 pm, noted author and lecturer, Dr. Jane Marie Thibault will present On Pilgrimage into the mind and heart of Christ at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2000 Douglass Blvd. Louisville, Ky 40205.  This lecture is free and open to the public.

Dr. Thibault is a gerontologist and emerita clinical professor at the Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Louisville, where she taught for thirty-three years.  Dr. Thibault focuses on studying spiritual development in later life and caring for and encouraging elders with spiritual and religious concerns via counseling, retreats, and workshops.  She is the author of several books, including Ten Gospel Promises for Later Life ,  No Act of Love Is Ever Wasted: The Spirituality of Caring for Persons with Dementia and Pilgrimage into the Last Third of Life: 7 Gateways to Spiritual Growth.  She has taught the Aging and Pastoral Care course at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary and has been a mentor for the Doctor of Ministry in Spirituality and Aging Program at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
