How to start a Veteren's Ministry?

VA Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiative (CFOI) partners with faith based and community organizations (FBCOs) nationwide to assist our Veterans, their families and beneficiaries. Below is a quick illustration of our collaborative events and attached is our “fact sheet” as well as our Veteran ministry guide.

Purpose:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiative (CFOI) is an office located in Washington DC. Our mission is to engage, educate and inform faith-based, community, and non-profit organizations about the VA tools and resources that will equip them to better serve the Veterans, their families, survivors, caregivers, and other beneficiaries within their congregations/organizations
Objectives:
Connect faith-based and community organizations (FBCOs) with VA program and services to promote hope, help and resilience for Veterans experiencing mental health concerns and/or conditions to reach the 20 million Veterans nationwide by:
